Shore Dives
Shore Dive Plus Full Equipment
Nick takes out groups of 1 to 6 people per dive; however if you wish to have a 1 on 1 dive or a “couple dive” that can be arranged as well. On the shore dives we visit the many fascinating diving locations all around the Cape Peninsula. You can choose from dives like diving through the enchanting Kelp Forests, Cow Sharks, Wreck Diving or any of our colourful reefs. Shore dive depths are shallower allowing longer dive times! In the summer in between the dives, cool drinks and refreshments are available.
At the dive site you will be briefed on the dive and what to expect. Most shore dives in False Bay are accessed by a short walk down the beach. Most shore dives on the Atlantic side (Western Seaboard) involve descending down a path to the water. Always make sure you proceed slowly and carefully.
Where
Meeting point for most out shore dives is in Simons Town at the dive site. We sort out our equipment out here and jump into the water, from one of our beautiful sandy beaches in False Bay and then discover the amazing aquatic life that Cape Town has to offer.
When
7 days a week we do shore dives. The best starting time is 8.30 am with a lunchtime finish. Nick can be contacted evenings as well, to arrange any diving for the following day.
